if your cables are not broke you can get them freed up with a lubber, it works real well

this is why I went back to a 225pro max and got rid of my 280, in my opinion the piston and ring choice for the hi perf motors is nothing but junk, lets face it they are both built by wiseco, I am not a fan of any of their parts.
