Interesting to me that it broke on the back side where it's thickest. Why... Inquiring minds need to know! Your very lucky !
that is where the most pressure is on a prop, that is why it is thicker

Fall of 18 I was cruising the lake and threw a blade on my 26 Q-IV just trying to enjoy a beautiful evening while no one was on the lake. Water was smooth and clean, was only running about 50, just suddenly started to vibrate real bad. The blade in the picture was the 27 Q-IV that came with my boat. we were comparing it to the 26 PM we bought to replace the other one. I really like the PM overall and may buy a 29. I guess maybe all blades just fatigue in time.

1/2 way between the Gay Bay and LA.
On the way to weigh in I suddenly developed a vibration. Backed off the gas but decided to keep on plane knowing if I stopped to look we wouldn't make it to weigh in on time. Once done with weigh in found the Torque Shift had thrown off of the blades. My usual rule of thumb is 1/2" crack prop is junk.
