Guys new here so bear with me. As title states setup question motor is 200 mariner coned case lw pickups even with pad 12 inches of setback. Is this good starting point?
Also what has been the go to prop for this setup. We do a lot of tournament fishing but also want the speed to.
Boat runs 81 @6400 tourney load and 2 men @450 25psi wp with a 26trophy 4blade

I think it's running good with a 200. Not sure if there's much left, I'm sure someone here has ran a 200 on a 03.

I think u won't get much more either, I have a 98 model with a 200 carb motor with 14 inch set back and 1/2 inch above pad I turn a 27 tempest about 6200, never clocked it with a gps. Also have a sports master with 6" bobs hydraulic plate on a 8 inch allison cut down plate.

I started with a 200 SuperMag and low 80's with fishing load is about right. Should run high 80's to 90 empty.
