Well, almost had a 99 200 EFI rebuild candidate but the price didn't justify the condition. Oh well, still looking, prefer a PM225 anyway.
Will likely end up having one built by a reputable vendor and have it shipped.
One way shipping is better than 3 way, costs are kinda high when a border is involved.

Top Gun or Speedmaster, They're both close to you

Those are the usual suspects in the Toronto area. Top Gun is probably less expensive, at least by reputation. They both race, Speedmaster at a higher level, Top Gun is no slouch at racing.

I know Ted and Paul well and have been in discussion with them.
Paul has a motor I'm interested in but you know him, he's hard to get a hold of so I'm going up there tomorrow.

I have delt with Paul before, he is a good guy. I know a bunch of the Canada guys up there into the hippo outboards... It is running strong up there!!!!!!!

I'm probably not the authority on hi-po boats up here as I'm a bit of a newb after a long absence from boating. Been busy racing bikes.
From my viewpoint there seems to be a small, healthy group of enthusiasts running informal drags and lake get-togethers with some very nice hardware.

Tom I have a freshly built 225 promax. Everything done. Carbon fiber drag cowl, sportmaster for 6300 cdn shipped. Probably a buried add somewhere on fastboatscanada. Its in Winnipeg. Broke it in on my Allison and its on an STV right now. Easy 90s with it
