Went to the local tackle store and bought a couple of things you should use at Clear Lake. I'll show you a couple of spots close by, some down at the other end too, maybe. Maybe not.
I'll have you know I've lost at least 15 lbs.

Is it just me thats looking foward to this?

I'm almost ready! Camper is on truck, boat is good to go. All I have to do is give camper a quick wipe-down, stock it with food, give boat a quick wipe down and I'm ready to roll! We're headed out of here Friday night after work. I was talking to my friend Michele who is coming over from Colorado for a few days and she's gonna make some chili too...best chili I've ever had! I presume there's some grocery stores nearby? Also, there's somewhere local to get a guest fishin' license too? What tackle should I bring, or is there enough to borrow? I'd love for somebody to take me somewhere to catch some fish! I won't have the troller on my boat. How you usually catch 'em down there? I'm one of those people that don't care what kind of fish I catch...if I'm catchin' fish, I'm happy!

Also, as much as I'd love to ride in as many boats as I can (anybody is welcome to ride in/drive mine), I'd really like to ride in an XB-2003...I think that's what I want for my next boat, mainly due to wind protection. My XTB-21 is not really a passenger friendly boat. Buddy of mine was riding shotgun the other night at around 76 and said it was almost hard to breath, lol! If the 2003 is what I hope it may be, mine may be for sale when I get back home. Seeing as the only people I'll know down there are Aaron and Rachelle and John, everybody feel free to come up and say hi! Really looking forward to meeting everybody down there!

The town is close by. Theres a nice SafeWay market that we usually go to. There are some good tackle stores, at least there were.
Clear Lake is Meca for bass fishing but also has all the warm water fishies too. The lakes in my aera have past through most of the bass spawn. Clear lake probably is pre spawn I would guess, might be a perfect time while we are there for BIG FISH. Then again since I'm there the lake will be shut off, always happens.

Bullet, to bad you wont have your trollen motor on, i know the lake pretty good, and will bringen some of my tackle,, but i wont be bringen me Ranger, Im gunna Be in a Yellow Venom, Im also hopeing to get out and do some lip rippen, just bring some sankos jigs, a few swim baits, maybe your fav. worm and you should get bit, maybe a top water bait also,

Bill, Lou Jr. will still be in school, but Steffan may be coming and he is close to being a pro cameraman. It depends on our workload if he can come or not. The testing is Thursday right? Maybe can do.

Oh yeah I am bringing a little red boat.

Almost midnight, rolling out after work tomorrow. Been running myself stupid the last couple days trying to get things finished. Still got a bit to do, but should be able to finish in less than 2 hours. Hopefully I'll be able to sign out on leave a little early. If not I'll be getting a later than planned start. Amazing how many things have to be done for the first trip of the year. I can't wait to get down there and relax some!
