Do we need to get a vote going for Delta or Clear Lake and then determine the hotels?

First of all I think we need to have someone confirm he or they will take on the job of heading up this years Rally. Because they might be willing only if it's close to where they live.

Here I go**** I'll do the calling and set up a place at Clearlake. Lets have a "thingie" as to the one in Glenhaven or in lakeport. Glenhaven, being at the narrows, is the roughest part of the lake when the wind comes up. Lakeport (Skylark) is iffy when the wind is blowing. Glenhaven is closer to the clothing opt. dock but the fishing is not too good there due to the "pressure":laughing.
Just got back from the Garlic Festival in Gilroy. Garlic ice cream is really****** wierd!

If your going to look at Clear Lake. The last WON Bass Team fish off Chris and I went to was out of the Indian casino at the upper end of the lake. It had every thing I think. Motel, good boat parking, docks, RV sites, close enough to town/gas.

We stayed there last year in the motel and it was OK. Real close to Lakeport, gas & food also two good tackle shops in town ( suprise). Power at the docks and in the parkinglot at the motel.
A pretty nice setup.
Sorry for not stopping to see you Gary, once a year is enough :laughing :beer: plus I'm still dripping.
