Now I'm curious what a 31" OT would do and how it would compare.............my 30" OT was 2 MPH slower and pulled just a few more RPM.
How about a 37 pitch :big grin todd ya ever do one pitched like this before? i cant emagine what its going on? http://i1293.photobucket.com/albums/b598/Hossprops/Prototype Props/1475x37Tritonclose_zps57ae2df6.jpgNow I'm curious what a 31" OT would do and how it would compare.............my 30" OT was 2 MPH slower and pulled just a few more RPM.
Or the 2 seater is just considerably slower than the prosport...........My 250XS (built in 2007/165 hours) would have a hard time spinning that big of a prop with my 1:62 gears. I think I have an issue...or 2.
Why would you want to? :big grinI don't think I could turn a 31" Bravo either, if that's what you're using for a comparison.
The prop in question is a completely different blade profile than the X-OB. I don't think I could pull a 30"+ X-OB.I havent owned a 30+ pitch prop since 2008 when I swapped out my gears from the 1:75 to 1:62. When my boat was new, it came with a new 28 Quad IV-XOB...the 1:62 gears had a hard time with that prop.
SECRETS OUT NOW!!! lmdaoHere's my real speed secret............
