Any advise as to what kind of adhesive, that will hold the black shims in place while changing props ?
The original stuff was clear and only lasted a few months.
So I tried some hi-temp red RTV silicone.....It only lasted a few trips .

I have cleaned the metal hub and the plastics parts off well with something like gasoline. I then use Weldwood (brush-on) contact cement on both the metal and the plastic. Let it dry for a while and push the two together, making good contact with the whole surface area. I haven't found anything yet that works better than this. Good Luck!

i agree with todd, i turn the prop tips down. glue them on, then stick the hub in the prop to where it has pressure on it, but not all the way in. let it dry over night. this way everything stays centered on the hub while it is drying. gorilla glue expands big time as it dries. good stuff. after it dries push it in, it will be a nice tight fit. it is made 20 minutes from me.
