How accurate is the trim gauge on the merc monitor? Is the trim setting repeatable and reliable? I am having a hard time telling where I am trim wise with the Pro Xs. The cowling doesn't have any straight lines like the old pro max cowls. A Stainless marine mechanical trim indicator is crazy expensive. So, I know lots of you guys running the new XB-21 with merc monitors on them should know. thanks

It's as reliable as the sender. I've had a sender go out on one of mine. It just got real jumpy. Easy to replace though.

Once you calibrate it, it is repeatable in my experience. But I don't drive by the trim gauge, though.

Every prop motor height and load will like a little different amount of trim...

Understood but, knowing for sure where I am prior to moving will make it a lot easier to figure out how far you need to go. Much better starting point to make that choice from. Lighter less trim and heavier more.

sounds like the merc monitor should be repeatable enough for what your looking at doing
