Hdyromotive Quad IV OT props......

I ran a quad IV on my XB03/225X 95% of the time. Only time it ever came off was to put on a T3X or Knob Cut for a top end pass at a rally. They do handle great. Mine ran 93-94 with a 1 man fishing load and ~92 with a 2 man fishing load.

When I traded my XB03 for a XB21 (but kept the 225X), I changed to an X-OT for pushing the heavier boat.

If I were you, i'd run the Quad IV unless you're carrying a massive load. I ran the X-OT on my XB03/225X for hauling 4 ppl, etc., but not an every day prop.

What pitch did you run on the xbo3 most

Neal........did you ever run just your OT on your XB2003/225X with 4 people and if so, how was it? I may be forced into doing it in about 2 weeks because I don't have an X-OT. I know the OT is more of a stern lifting prop and doesn't "fly the bow" like many other props I have run. I have only ever run it with 2 people and some fishing tackle and it does great for that.

Yeah, it was just slower out of the hole. Once it got on plane, it was fine.
