Are they the best place for lower unit alteration? If not, who is.

Go with Bobs!
Right on Cliffy, thats what I am running!

With any marine business during peak season, inquire about turn around time.

A (former) Allison owner john4utvols, mentioned JC's doing them again, maybe he can provide further info.

IDIOTs- PEOPLE that KNEW a far north YANKEE BOAT SHOP/Dealer was FULL Of CHIT when he showed up on the Allison board/Rally tellin people all about his Gearcases Mods, Powercoat powerheads, home made intakes, and 225/260.

Victims- everyone who belived that BS and now ready to KICK his AZZ!

If you're looking to have a cone added to a case, I would go with Titus. His work is impeccable. He fully welds the cone on, instead of spot welding which dramatically reduces the chance of the epoxy cracking a peeling off. He is also a great guy to deal with.

(We won't go into the argument of whether or not a modified sporty or CLE will give you any speed increases, since that topic has been beat to death. :D :D )

I agree with Ziemer, Titus is a standup guy and does a great job. The sm mod works better on some boats than others.

No, I'm not going to make that one, maybe later in the year when it starts getting colder up here I'll make a trip. Is that river ranch event in November worth the trip?

Not to get off track from the original question :D :D , but the River Ranch trip in May was one of the best events I've ever been to. Definitely worth the trip! (Although, it is only about an hour from my house. :D )

Good show!
A comment guranteed to win friends, establish credibilty and make Kevins job harder.

For Cliff
Do you have a Titus or GPI/Titus gearcase and if yes;
What model is it (CLE, Sporty,200)?
Did you experience an increase, decrease or no change in MPH?
Is your handling better or worse?
Workmanship?
Did you just buy it because Randy@GPI told ya so?
C'mon talk it up....provide facts, not your trademark sarcasm.

Speaking of sarcasm....Wow lots of tough questions, you might have to find a bar that has A/C and Wi-Fi.
