John, you saying that Euchee had the land cabins open for us too?? I was told that TVA had them rented permanently. Actually, I had you and roy with families in mind when I talked to the owner of Hala's Place! That sounded like a perfect fit.

Euchee Resort and Marine is now full!!!

Sam's Boat Docks is not taking any requests for rentals until after the outdoor show he goes to up North in mid February. He will know by March 1st or so if he will have any availability. I will check with them then and post if anything is available.

I might give up my room, me and roy are thinking about getting the house and letting people stay with us there. Anybody interested in staying at the house with us let me know I have until mid feb, to decide. There are 3 rooms that have double bunk beds and two rooms with queens, couch also pulls out to a queen, 2700 sq ft, with big party deck on the back, it is a mile from euchee. Plus might save us a lot of money. It is only a mile away.

I spoke to the owner of Sam's Boat Dock this afternoon and he was busy buying new docks for his resort. However, I am to contact him tomorrow to see if he has any cabins available for the week of the rally. If you remember a month ago or so, I pulled his name off the "lodging" list because he told me that he sets up a booth at an outdoor show to book fishermen "from up north" to his resort for the 2015 season. I will try my best to get some accommodations from him and will post here if he has anything available.

Susan has taken that week off and I have not gone back to work since my recent knee replacement [I have postponed retirement if the perfect job comes along]. We are considering coming to there for the rally. I am hoping to be finished with the addition to my house by then. We would plan on coming up on the 20th and staying through Saturday night on the 27th to return to Jax Sunday morning.

Since we know little about the rally site except many trips down/up the Tennessee, could someone check for some nice 1 bedroom accommodations and let us know the details.

Hopefully the ice will be melted from the rivers up there by then.....Just Kidding!
