I have a low hour rebuilt PM that I'm selling. It has been run just past break in so hours are about 15 to 20.

It will sell with either an almost new TM fat shaft or a TM with a Bob's dual hose cone, your choice. 6000 dollars.

I'll have pics up tonight and compression done tomorrow hopefully.

I do have the records from the rebuild. It has mercury top pinned pistons. Five cylinders .015 over and a new sleeve on one hole which is the same size. The injectors were sent to Brucato for cleaning and flow test.
The cylinders are:
1 139 @ 5% Leakdown
2 137 @ 2%
3 140 @ 5%
4 152 @ 4%
5 140 @ 4%
6 137 @ 3%

I talked to Jay Smith about no 4 and he said that was the new sleeve. He said it was alright to run that like it is on pump gas in my area. He told me a couple things I could do to reduce the compression.

What happened? Didn't you just switch out from your 150 Optimax for the JSRE?

Going a different route?

Yes, I got scared. Not really but things started going by quicker than I wanted.

I ran the PM up to 88 with the wrong prop (Bravo 1 28p) and a coned torquemaster and it was a handful. The gas tank started dropping faster than I was used to also.

I found a 200XS a friend of Joe had in Alabama and its sitting on my boat now.

I will still get a lower unit built for an Allison and hopefully settle for something in the 80's and more fuel efficient.

How did the bravo holeshot and accelerate? Curious how the big barrel did on a 2.5 liter motor

Not good at all but the prop I used had no ventilation. My 26 bravo 1 on the Opti worked very good up to 60.
