Care to share what speed you have hit so far ? I also have a 389 Javelin with a FS 175 have run a bunch of props - best was a 26 raker @ 73 mph - light of course. Run a Boger mod 25 Renagade for everyday.

How high are you shaft/pad ? I raised my motor yesterday and still can only get 2" below pad.

I ran a quad IV on my Bullet - best all around

Yea, I don't think many Allisons are Omc powered. I like the Fast Strike, it's light and has good power, it does seem to like fuel though.

I've only owned the boat for a couple months now, it came with a 27 Renegade, 26 Hydromotive Quad IV, and a 27 Mach Stern Driver. All the props are 4 blade, I'm using the Renegade for fishing, all of the props run well, really not a clear winner.

Hey - I thought I was about the only one on here with a 2003/Fastrike !!

Just about finished rebuilding total boat and should be ready to test in a couple of weeks.

What are you running for a prop ??
