How would a yamaha drag prop run on my combo? 2003/225X.
I've talked to the previous owner of my boat several times since I acquired it and a yamaha wheel was his favorite on this boat. Granted, it had a different motor on it when he had it, but he's just about convinced me to give the yamaha props a try.
So, how does the yamaha drag wheel run on a fishin' boat? Obviously they must be fairly quick out of the hole since they seem to be a popular choice for the drag race crowd. What about top end and handling? And my boat seems to be especially sensitive to steering torque...how are these props as far as wheel torque goes?
Since I've got a fat shaft, I'll either have to get one re-hubbed or go with a yammi-copy. Any copies to stay away from?
