I've seen that video several different places on the net. I can't wait till they put that thing into production. THat would be a blast on the lake behind my house. Probably cost an arm and a leg, though.

Kevin,
Let me know when you get yours and your evaluation of it.
Thanks,

JR,

You know me, I'll have some in depth pics that you don't see on the web sites, plus hands on test results for durability and battery life.

This could be a $400 disaster or one heck of fun toy :)

Hey, someone has to try it out

Kev: I showed my boy the video and I'm told that the red one is his, and the yellow one is mine. Please let us know how it works out as I'm sure that two will be headed to NE Texas soon unless it turns out to be a dud.

Regards to the tester.....

what kind of fuel does it run on?

HydroFoam also has some very new and interesting technology inside it. For starters it has a brushless motor that allows Rc Hydrofoam to achieve high speeds while using less power.

Yes that's right, Hydro-Foam runs on battery power.

I've been doing a little research as I wait on the new toy that should ship this week even though I ordered it 9-9-05.

This is a knock off (splash) of Ernest Butler's design by a couple of companies. TrendTimes is one of them whom I ordered mine through.

I'm sure this is what Darris doesn't do like this guy did.

This is what I found:

Kevin, thanks for hanging it out there on this one. Like the other guys, I'll be waiting anxiously for your review. Louis saw the video and has to have a yellow one!!

They are swamped with orders, but I should have it this week.

I'll have full coverage of the kit. Estimated battery run time is 30-40 min and a one hour recharge. I'll see how long it lasts in the yard learning this thing before I try aerial stunts :)
