XR2002 Allison props

Props recommend for allison xr2002 with 2005 Mercury ROS 2.5L 280hp. 15" mid section. manufacture, diameter and pitch.

Years and Years ago ( early 2000's ), Randy Pierson took my 14 1/2 X 28 Merc Cleaver and ran in the 120's I think with his XR / Drag Combo

The Hydromotive guys run Allisons so I will second Robert’s recommendation. Other choices could be a Drag 3, Drag 4, a Hoss Triton, Marco RE, or a Merc ET.

Most people don’t run cleavers on SS2000 which is my ride. I don’t know about the XR

I’ve never ran an XR, but I can’t imagine those hydromotive props listed would be ideal for one. Completely different setup between the 2 boats.

What do you want to do with the boat ? Drag race vs. Top speed are two different animals obviously.
