I have an xb2003 with a 200 pro max. The boat just isn't getting the lift I want. I have a 9" jackplate and the motor is set 1" below the pad. Running a 4 blade prop. Can anyone give me advice as to how much setback I need and engne height and prop to make this baby fly?

Yep, needs more setback and more engine height. 13-15" of setback works well, and start out 1/4" below the pad.

These guys are right, but in the mean time, don't be afraid to raise that motor up. Pull it within a 1/4" below and try it. That alone will make a huge difference.

Like they said, start at 1/4 below the pad and work it from there. Probably need a little more setback.
