Craig, the 29 did not work with my 1.62 gear, it would only turn 5400rpm's so I traded it for a Roy Roach worked 28 to a 27 trophy plus with the Allison cut and some tip cup and so far it is my best prop. Still it only turns 5900rpm @ 93.3mph with 3 people in the boat. So I think a 26 Hydromotive will get me closer to the rpm range, will need the blow-out ring and the pvs holes though.

Hey Scott I have 26p drag 4 that is almost a 27 worked for an an 03. It really carrys the boat. Puts up awesome numbers, but it really flys the boat. I get deals on the drag 4 new. I bought it new, and worked it for a friends of mine. He blew his motor, so I got it back. Prolly has less than 10 hours on it. It went 78.9 on an 03 today with a stock 175 with me driving it. There wasn't any boat in the water. Awesome running prop. Labbed and balanced.

Roy I just got home from doing some prop testing. Tried a bone stock 26 Hydromotive QIV-OT, best hole shot of all the props I've tried so far but tops out at 89mph @ 5800rpm. Still the worked Trophy plus I got from you is the fastest today, turning it 5900rpm @ 94.4mph. Got a 27 Pro max coming sometime next week, so I will see what it does

Scott I think the numbers are off, here is why.
5800/1.62/ 26 p Prop = 88.2 MPH Theoretical before slip. With a average slip of 7% you would be closer to 82 MPH.
5900/1.62/28 p Prop (Trophy Plus is stiff pitched) =96.5 Theoretical before slip. This works out to be 2% slip. Is it possible yes , likely no.
Point being something is up with the numbers you ran 89 which is faster than Mathematically possible at that RPM. Call me when you can !!!

i'd like to try all 3 of the props, especially the 26 hydro OT. does it have the PVS holes?
