I have a 28 ET that is being cleaned up by Robbie Patterson that may be for sale........are you sure you're going to need a 30?...........What boat/motor combination are you running?

I already have a 28 chopper that's getting worked, I would like to have a 30 for the GS/225X combo.

The 28 is great but not enough to stay off the limiter.

Mazco re3's are fast. My 30p mazco is faster than a friends 30p et.

i am gonna keep saying it ,over and over! dont waste your time and money with any other prop on a grand sport but a HOSS triton 1 . 14 1/2 x28... all around best pitch range. CALL TIM at HOSS and talk to him about why allison used their props on their test boats.

I take it you like the hoss on your gs? I'm on the limiter with a new stock 28 chopper at the moment. I need a 30 of some variation...

Chris, I'm curious what speeds you are getting into the limiter with the stock 28 Chopper II and how many rpm's is your limiter set at?

Me too... The speedo is an 80mph teleflex which is not much good anyway I don't imagine. The limiter is stock at the moment and it looks like it comes on at 6800 or a touch more. The gearcase is 1/4 below at the moment torquemaster with titus cone.
I did get to run a 30 and had a friends etrex this weekend and it went 95. The pad on the boat has a lot of work to be done and this thing should run well. More important than anything I want it to drive well.

I have a few hours in it on the water as of now... so I look for it to be pretty sporty by spring after some tuning and tlc.

And I do plan to at least get the limiter moved up and maybe do the flywheel while I have the boat on its side working the bottom.
