That would look cool. The boat came with a pristine looking 1979 Black Max but unfortunately one hole is down. I have to pull it down, bore it, new piston(s), and whatever it needs. Just hate to wait till I get around to it to use the boat. An Opti would make an economical little rig.

Thank you very much. I got impatient as I wanted to get this XST on the water. I put an XR2 2 liter powerhead on it. It was perfect for the boat. The gentleman that built the motor wants me to run 50 gallons of break in fuel through it. I went to the lake and ran it for two hours. Running 3000 rpm max it burned about 4 gals of gas. I will never get it off break in mix!

Last year we bought a 115 HO Etec for our little 16 Baja that we use for skiing. No break in. 64 mph at WOT first day. Then we put a ski prop on and never went more than 50 for the rest of the summer.

No break in is pretty cool.
