I really hate that the camping area was not that desirable to us. I know that the biggest thing with the WAR is the parking lot talk, etc.
We are going to launch everymorning and be with the group all day.
I know that we would have loved to stay in the hotel but with a Dog we have to have the camper.
Aaron took a few pics of the camp lot and houses surrounding the place for everyones enjoyment and amusement.

I just got thru fixing up my house (#3) so be careful. I'm starting a collection of cars that don't run on the other side.

Since I own seven boats you might be able to imagine what my place looks like. I can only imagine what my wife would be saying to me if I took her for 6 fun filled days and pulled into that lot and said well honey were home, it wouldn't be pretty. I have flown back to TN a couple of times for their Rally and was invited to ride along with a couple and they were so nice to put up with me for 2 days and I really enjoyed there company. But the reason I went back was the evenings in the parking lot. I learned a lot and made some good friends that I still talk to from time to time. I even learned a new game called quarter drop.

Everone, did you study the boat wreck post, alot of good pointers there for everyone.
Primarly accidents happen to anyone, at anytime, anyplace.

Worst thing is they involve safety minded people brought on by morons like this.

What gets me scared the most is boats running close togeather or running by one another. I can't read your mind and I can't see you trying to overtake me. Right turn!

A boat is basicaly a skid being pushed across the water. No brakes, marginal steering at best.

Oh, now you can ask me how my wife got thrown out of our boat at about 60mph during a tournament.

We are at the Edgewater. It is a nice campground with trees but it seems like most of the group is going to be at the Konocti Casino in the parking lot. It is not that far from there you just follow Soda Bay Rd. So I wold suggest checking that place out and if it is not what you were thinking then come join us down here. Look forward to meeting you!

John found us!!! I guess he arrived last night around 10sih at Konocti casino and got up this morning and found us!! The weather is awesome, looks like everyone else will start trickling in the next few days! Excited to me everyone. :very happy

Number is 360 620 5609. Keith, gene, bill, john, gary and wife are all here. Water was terrible today, 2 to 4 foot swells and we got soaked, sure hoping that it looks better tomorrow. We all plan on meeting on the water by 8 am at the casino, we will boat over or trailer over depending on the water.
