Wanted = 27 SRX for OMC

Wanted: I am looking for a 27 SRX or similar style prop for an OMC - have a 225 Vindicator. I have a 29 SRX, but the engine has trouble getting out of the hole with it and cavitation is high. Would like to run a slightly smaller pitch prop. of similar capabilities. Have a 4 blade 27, and the boat pushes it well, but the boat will not reach its potential on the top end. Got a guy here that had the same problem with a 29srx and he said he had the leading edge curled a little to bite better, He had a decent hole shot as far as I could see.

I had one done by them a few months ago. The 27 is harder to find and the most sought. He did say he had a few new ones he had just found.

GFINCH, FYI, spoke to John and should be getting a new new prop for my rig soon. Need to send him my 29 as an exchange - hope to get it packed up next week and sent off. Thanks for the info.

Well, I spoke to John at DAH and he tells me the worked 27 SRX is on the way, can't wait - hope it performs well.
