Ok guys & Gals, the moderator( ya the one that edits other people's posts) suggested that we get going on planning meals. Jody, the woman that books group events, said that they have a bbq that we may use. I figure that the WAR BBQ will be there as well.
The casino has a restaurant that has breakfast, lunch & dinner.
There are quite a few nice restaurants in Lakeport as well.

Lunches can be planned as well for those that want to come in from fishing or have "broke sumptin".

Normally we share the cooking duties for the group with 1,2 or 3people getting together to "do dinner".
Since we seem to have more females this year, maybe we can have cherry pies as well as Bob's dandy apple stuff :smile.

Anyway, talk it over amongst yourselves and get your choices posted so we will know what we need to do,

As soon as I know if I get the week off (hopefully early next week) I am willing to help with meals (I am an okay cook)
Since I have never been to a W.A.R, I don't know how chow works but I am sure I can handle it.:smile

My wife is a great cook, hasn't killed me yet. She could help in some way. One, is holding a wine glass. Wonder if they make a cozy for a wine glass? The only thing about cooking is 1-800-PIZZA......

I'll help out again. If John wants to team up again, I am up for Thursday Dinner. Steaks, Potato Salad, Corn, and apple crisp.

How about it John? You bring the steaks?

I have never fed that many people but look forward to the challange. I will be doing it myself seeing that I am traveling with 2 boys :banghead but sure I can handle it. When we get down there on Monday I will look at how big r camp site is and how far it is from the BBQ pit and figure it out. Will have taco meat, (maybe chicken), beans, rice, tomato, salsa, onion, lettuce, olives, cheese, soft tortillas and of course chips. Any thing else anybody can think of?

I think lunch is a loser. Too much work and you never know how many are actually gonna show up! If the fishing is good, I'm not gonna be coming in for lunch.
