I have a friend of mine that just replaced the o-rings in is square motor 150 trim pump. Kit was #24-48462A for what that’s worth. This kit did the pump assembly but didn’t do the rams or at least he didn’t mess with those. Original problem was a slow leak down when the motor is trimmed up. He text me last night had it back together but said it really didn’t fix it. I’ve never seen much info on rebuilding a trim assembly so was looking to get educated. Any info on where the problem is normally at and tips on the rebuild process would be greatly appreciated.
Eventually I want to do my round pump style as it is starting to do the slow leak thing but still will take several hours. For us with the speeds we can run and the amount of force put on the system when up and out I would think keeping the trim system heathy is crucial.
