Thanks for that - I don't actually own an XTB yet, but I'm getting all the planning stuff out of the way 8)

Unfortunately the thru-hull box is rather small and too far forward but it is what it is. I had to remove the factory flasher transducer to put in the new Hbird one since both would not fit in together. Around sixty MPH, that area of the hull rises out of the water and your numbers will go haywire but the GPS speed function isn't affected so stay in deeper water and you'll be fine.
