I just sold my XB2003T with a 280
My new 21 Prosport should be in the mold very soon.
Because of money or (lack of ) I will be putting my old 225 PMax on the 21. Im sure there will be a lot of difference between these rigs. But the worst thing will be losing the 280.
What kind of money are we looking at to do the SVS and PCU for a 2000 model 225 PMax.

PCU and SVS

For everything new, about $1800 for the SVS and add another $1400 for the PCU with all the bells & whistles. You can probably find a used SVS for around $1000. A used PCU is hard to come by.

hi Fishnfireman,

I think if I was in your shoes, I would save up for the 300 too!

Going from the 2003/280 to the 21 ProSport/225 will be boring, even with bolt-on goodies.

Sometimes you're better off to upgrade engines, and I think this is one of those times.

thanks Tony,

I do thank you for your reply!!
One other thing-- did you get to witness any of the 21s in action and what might be the prop of choice for a 21 prosport with an average to heavy tournament load with a stock 225 PMax.

PS I'm kind of partial to an over the hub chopper style.
I have a 26 RE3 and 26 & 28 RE4 that I will try.

Any suggestions ???
