I had a biopsy on my tongue today. Two stitches, some tylenol 3, and I felt OK. At least until my wife got home from work. Then I tried talking. I could talk OK at first, but after a while, it was time for a vow of silence.

Eating doesn't work either, except mush. Not even bread. But talking is the worst. It's time to shut the .... up ie, take a vow of silence.

My wife is pretty quiet most of the time, but was full of questions about the procedure yesterday. today I can talk a bit without trouble, but still eating variations of mush.

Hope your tongue heals fast. There is an exercise you can do once the stitches are out. It will also stop any questions from your wife for a while.;):D
