No fee for test and tune with paid entry
[FONT=Arial,sans-serif]15 & 16 May - Qualifying (Two rounds per day)[/FONT]
[FONT=Arial,sans-serif]17 May - Finals[/FONT]
[FONT=Arial,sans-serif]Entry Fee - $350 w/100% pay back per class[/FONT]
1st place - 70%
2nd place - 30%
16 brackets for each class
Second chance if 24 boats or more in the class
Track length - 1000ft
Classes: 6sec, 7sec, 8sec, and 9sec​

I haven't ever been but I've heard good things about it.

It keeps getting bigger and bigger every year!

Dang, our first SLDBA race is that same weekend in Poplar Bluff!!!! Would be nice to start the year with a 1000' race and end the year with a 1000' race.

This is going to be a great race for New racers to get their feet wet!

Or for anybody that has never had the chance to get a time slip with ET's and MPH down to the 1000'th of a second......

If you have a boat that can run 11 seconds in the 1/4 mile then it will a good contender in the 9 second 1000' class!


Plus,, The Entry is low and the Purse is high!!!! :wink

Early Entry is only $300.00 Bucks (if received before April 22 2009)

Here's the pay out....

The pay out is 70% for 1st and 30% for 2nd.
It's 100% pay back for each class. It does not make any difference weather the entry paid was 300.00 or 350.00 all the money paid in a class will be paid back. As for second chance there must be 8 boats in a class over the top 16 qualifers, they are paid 70% for 1st and 30% for 2nd, that money is for those 8 boats only. So if you take the 8 boats in second chance and multiply there entry fee, let's just all 8 paid 300.00 times 8 would be 2400.00, and 1st would get 70% of that and 2nd would get 30%. Now if you have 26 boats in a class the money for the to entries over 24 will be add into the top 16 qualifers so there money is increased more. :big grin

Maurice and I will be there Sunday. I might make it down Saturday early but my kid is getting married Saturday night so I'll have to leave pretty early.

Purcell is a cool little town. Norman is a good place to stay if the rooms are all gone in Purcell. Theres a good catfish place north of Purcell on I35 at the Goldsby exit and Riverwind Casino is just north of there at the HWY 9 west exit.
