Mike I have a SS2000 comp and I run a 6" adjustable plate with a 1/2" wedge behind that for a total of 6.5". I'm also runnig a 24 Yami even with the pad and feel the setback is perfect. My motor is a 280 with a 8200 limiter and It's all over the limiter at 3/4 track.
