sliding doors on 2+2 for rod storage - rattles loudly

Hi everyone,

My 2+2 cockpit side sliding woodgrain/plastic rod storage doors rattle like crazy as I go down the lake. What can I do to keep them from being so loud?

I keep them open most of the time...they do not rattle when they are pushed forward...they are pretty tight so I do not know which part rattles.

Duane, like Bryan just mentioned they obviously don't rattle when opened fully but you probably already knew that. My drivers side is a bugger to open up it is that tight.

I did develop a rattle early on and spent some time looking things over and discovered one of the lock nuts fell off the machine screw inside that holds the door track on. I tightened ALL of them on both sides and then used some silicon sprayed on a rag and wiped the tracks of each.

They slide much better now and that little bit of rattle went away after tightening that one door.
