Pad lip

How does the lip on a 2002 compare to a 2003? The lip on my son-in-laws 02 comp pro is not as sharp or high as my 03. Mine is stock from the factory but his boat is a previously owned 90 model and may have been trimmed. I'm keeping it for awhile and have been doing some side by side comparisons. Thanks, GAR
