What is the difference in a offshore mid compared to a standard mid as far as performance wise. I know the sound is sweet, but does it move the exhaust better or what.

Thanks-John S

honestly the difference isnt very much between a standard 20" housing and the 20" offshore. The biggest difference is the noise

plus with the offshore midsection, you have to mount a trim pump in the boat

actually, the 20'' offshore will bolt right up to a 3 ram clamp bracket and you will not have to use a remote trim pump, it doesnt do anything for performance but it sure does make your rig look and sound better, there isnt anything like running down the river with that snarling mota hanging off the back, i had one on my xb2002 but i went to a 15, the 15 was way more trouble than the 20, i just bolted the 20 on and went, with the 15 i had alot of problems with, if you like noise then go for it,
