Non Skid on fenders

What adhesive would you recommend for the non-skid Allison decals on top of the fenders ?
All purpose ? Silicon ?

Speakin of chit on the fenders, I have the stainless tandem fenders and I just recently "super cleaned" em (removed the remainder of the Allison traction mats and glue) and I was wonderin... is there anyway of roughing that stainless up enough were it would hold a coat of spray on bedliner/LineX etc??? I'd like to tape off the entire top section and coat it with something rather than go back to more stick on traction mats that are just going to come off again. I believe Line X can even be had in custom colors, hmmmmmmmmmm wonder what color I could use??? :beer:

Let me ask a dumb question......Do you guys actually step onto or walk on those trailer fenders? My rubber decal things came off a long time ago and I just polish the fenders and have left them naked...........LOL

I use mine all the time, that's why they scratched up!!!
