New to Alison

I’m currently in collage and I’m looking to upgrade my bass boat. Currently have a Skeeter, but have always wanted a Alison. What is a good used model Alison that will fish very well, but is still cheap enough for a collage budget? Can you tournament fish in an Alison?

Best advice I can give you is to go ride/ drive/ fish out of one. Or a couple.

On a budget, you're probably going to be looking at xb02's or xb03's. You can fish out of either. Xb02 is a little narrow for my taste but fits a run and gun fishing style. Xb03 is a little wider and more versatile if you want to fish 2 on the front deck. With either of those options, you're looking at center console boats. The xb21 is bigger, going to fish better in big water and ledge fishing. And is available in more traditional layouts. But it's a newer boat and less available on the used market, so expect them to command a higher pricetag.

I paid $30 K for an xb21 2+2 with 250 xs 2 years ago , low hours and in great condition.

I'm seeing xb2003's for sale now asking close to 30k.... prices just keep going up
