New problem

[I/O to O/B]

Just got my 225 promax running great after swapping out a pooched starter. Out fishing, running great. Stopped for a few casts, turn key, engine fires up and then stops instantly. Only started twice after that, but both times died instantly. Thereafter cranking did absolutely nothing. I checked the bulb and it was hard. Swapped out to a brand new battery the next day after trolling home. Nothing. Where to start? It sounds and feels like a fuel delivery problem. Fuel pump toasted? Btw the flywheel turns so it is less than catastrophic. Thanks.

Pull plugs and look at each closely for aluminum. If none, emit a big sigh of relief and move on to simpler things like stator and switch boxes.

To close out, there was a ground wire loose at the front bottom of the engine. Re-connected it properly and shazam.
