hey bill, i thought once the boat was up and running the drag plate was out of the water?? didn't know it would have any effect. whats everyone's oppinion of switching from the 200/bob's case to the sporty?? the sporty i have has the ally cut skeg that has been thinned, i'm worried about losing the bondo on a top end run and blowing out the boat!! i blew it out once this weekend at 95 w/ my wife in the boat, and it wasn't fun, dropped the bow and the nose went to the left!!
