Can you guys believe this thing? In January NASA launched a pair of satellites into space whose mission was to find their way into the path of a comet that is 83,000 miles from earth. Now they are in position to execute their plan. One of the satellites will actually track directly into the path of the comets center and smash into it. The other satellite will navigate to take pictures of the collision (supposedly a possible aid in figuring out the origins of the universe!). One scientist equated it to having one bullet try to shoot another bullet while having a 3rd bullet in the exact position to record the feat in pics.

Just when you think they have just about done it all, :?

If NASA was going to that much trouble, why didn't they put a big Nuclear Warhead in the satellite, now that would be something to see....
