Merc engine builders question

I'm rebuilding my '96 260. I've got the pistons that use the C clip with a 90 degree tang. All I've able to find is the standard c clip. Does anyone know the part number or a source for the c clips with the tang ? Thanks for any help. Bob

You can use the one without the 90 degree tang , they are actually better because at hi RPM that tang can break off from the harmonics. TB

Thanks for the reply, I was worried about not having the tang on the c clip since the manual said not to use it. I've got a desire to keep as many parts inside the motor as possible. thanks Bob
