I fished it a few times when I lived in Tuscaloosa. Shakey heads on points worked real well for me in the summer when I was there.

Yep, I fished Lake Tuscaloosa quite a bit, just because it was right there and convenient. I caught a few fish at times, but that was one tough lake! It was worth the short ride down to Lock 8/Demopolis.
Just started fishing up in that area. Use to stay down on Alabama river always. Was wondering if any one on the site boatted or fished up there any. I know its a big time fishing lake but don't see any other Allisons. Usually down on lower end.

Been a few months since I was on Lay. I've seen a 21 up there before and a blue and white GS heading to Beeswax before. I'm heading up there in the next week to fish for some stripers by the damn but won't be in the Ally for that one. There are some good places below the narrows though.
