What about coming the other way and going to Clear Lake. We can stay at the Rally location and check things out. Fishing should be better and it's half as far for me. Just a thought. I can make some calls and find a few good places to eat. Or we can just stay at the Skylark Motel where we had the last Rally.

Clearlake is also down, but only about 5'. Most of the North end tules are high and dry, I didn't even try to get up the slough. The south end is still good for fishing. (rattlesnake island and Jago bay are good now)
I would go for Konocti vista Casino since the rooms are cheeper and they have the good docks. Since the water is down, I don't know how deep their inlet is to the docks. Could be TM time to the docks? I didn't even think about going there last week.:embarassed
