I just want to give my "THUMBS UP " to Jay Smith, owner of JSRE in Tx. Jay Smith Racing Engines completely rebuilt my 1999 Mercury 225 Pro Max Sport motor, and I couldn't be happier. This engine has so much "PEP" I can't wait to get it broken in!!!!!!!! I have 6 hrs run time plus 1 hour that Jay put on the motor and about 50 gallons of gas through it. If you ever need any engine repair, Jay is the man!!!!!!!!!!!Trust me, I am a very satisfied customer.Thanks Jay

Yup...it's a "Sport" (20"), not an "SS" (Short Shaft, or 15").

Still looks like a really nice mota, though.

Thanks,Brack for the comment. Jay builds some awesome engines. This engine runs like a sewing machine and start on a dime. The motor hasn't went over 135 in temperature when running. It runs so much cooler then my old motor. I can't wait to get her broken in!!!!!
