Sorry for being such a n00b but what is he driving? :embarassed
I visited the dsra website but couldn't find anything...

I did see one beautiful yellow XR-2001 with a 12" Drag(?) in the photo gallery.

Thanks guys. . Sayin it was tough would be a serious understatement.. My boat was borderline un drivable in that crazy cross wind. Way LUCKY I made it down the track .
The competition was second to none. Some very close racing for sure.

It was tough. From where I was, working the ramp, it looked like y'all were running the boats on the left side from the cross wind. Anybody that can drive a Modified or Gas Allison on it's side is cool in my book!

Thats pretty much how it was Eric. From 1000 foot on my steering wheel was pretty much 90dgrees to the right and it was still drifting left hard. I almost hit the finish line bouy. I was a little concerned a few times lol

John is one of the nicest and purest form of a drag racer you can find. There was no luck involved John is that good and that fast. Great job bud!!

BTW, I heard from the grape vine we will have some more VETERAN competition next year.
