Don't feel bad. They killed a lot of it. It's been a less than stellar week, unless you like rain and rain and a little bit of storms and wind thrown in for good measure. I hope things are improving for you'ns.

For the life of me I could never understand the science community who feel it is in the best interest of a living body of water to introduce invasive species to control another invasive species to kill weed growth and mismanage a body of water . An example is the introduction of asian carp to control weed growth. Now asian carp are a severe threat. Killing weed growth in a body of water may make shoreline land owners happy because they no longer have weeds near their dock now have a body of water that is dirty, dead and void of life. Harris chain of lakes were literally destroyed for decades back in the 80's because of weed killer. St. Lawrence Smallmouth and largemouth are thriving because of mussels cleaning up the water and goby that the fish are dining on.

Sorry to hear the weather sucks there. It does here too. Summer has not started and 4th of July is only 2 weeks away. It's been unseasonably cool and raining constantly

You didn't miss much. They weren't in the grass because of the rain and colder temperatures.

Last year air boats were out putting weed killer in the water in several places. I saw the boat in a bay off Thief Neck cut and at the Rockwood ramp.
They discharged under water and it was colorful stuff. They were also escorted by patrol boats. Signs were up at the ramps in Kingston and Rockwood that you should stay out of the water for a while too.

Oh that's wonderful....putting crap in the water to kill weeds and then tellin ya to stay out of the water!!! And the greenie weenies are spewing crap about global warming and carbon emissions and farting cows and eliminating airplanes then ya have a GOVERNMENT agency deliberately putting chemicals in our water to kill weeds which provide life to the food chain and give off oxygen in the water!!! ASSHOLES!!!
