I am exploring changing my GS to hydraulic steering. Looks like most reccomend the 6345 from SeaStar. I have been told almost $1700 installed by dealer. But I was looking and found kit for just below $700. Guess I would have to buy blinker trim also. How big of a job is this on a GS. It doesnt look to be too bad at all. I guess my main concern is getting everything right back at the motor. Thanks

Steve. I got mine from Allison with the beefed up cylinder. Not that difficult to install. And yes you will love it.

I was the first one to go hydro that we know of,I took my boat to darris and stayed on him about how great it was.I have the traditional system and have had zero issues,I'm sure the new refined system is better but I've had no problems with mine, only been 113mph once but over a hundred a lot.
