I like this format better than Facebook as I can search for different things. I see something interesting on Facebook, and in a few days it's buried so deep I can never find it again. But all the action is on Facebook so I'm there, despite the suspicion that Facebook is basically evil

There is a search feature on FB. Same as most - the magnifying glass icon.
just put in a keyword and you can search what you’re interested rather than scroll forever looking for what you are seeking.
Are the other message boards still going?
I used to visit, Bass Fishing HomePage (which was “outdated” even 15 years ago), Bass Boat Central, Scream & Fly I see is on FB now. Of course on FB you end up with MULTIPLE pages that cover the same thing. There are a few Allison boat pages out there. I only partake of two of them (one is strictly boats/items for sale)
