Has anyone run 14.5x28 Merc 3 blade chopper on a GS with 2.5 carb 245 hp

thank you, I been running 27 SRX from prior Hydrostream , I got the GS last year, had to rebuild motor so just getting seat time and coming out of break in. Have not really had a chance to see what the 27 SRX will do.

GS has the same bottom as xb2003. I have run both 27 SRX and 28 chopper. Both worked good. My SRX cavitated a lot more on the break over. 28 ET runs better then both the previous. I recommend Bill Eves or Rich Junker at leading edge propeller to work a chopper. Some have had better results with chopper vs. ET. I am on my forth ET and third chopper. All ET props have run better than all choppers. 28 MAZCO ran well about the same as a chopper but looks better. Other prop I think are in the same league...Hoss triton.

My best with 28 chopper 98mph @ 7700 Rpm.
28 ET 101mph @ 7900 rpm
