Getting to Pickwick from Memphis area

Hey all! So I have a lot of time off next two weeks and I'm thinking about finally takin' a trip to Pickwick with the 2003! Simple question. From where I'm at in Cordova, is it faster to take 57 or go down into MS and take US 72 over there? I'm lookin at googlemaps and it shows a 4 min difference btw the two routes but 57 looks more direct for me. Just curious which you fellow Memphis area fellers think is the better route. Thanks!

Take 72! Too many small towns (speed traps) along 57.

Try 64 to 45 to 57 if your going near the dam.

Crap.....I gotta work Friday, at least half a day. I'd be up for a Sat or Sun trip though.
