Gas cap replacement

The plastic attachment on my gas cap on my 1996 03 snapped when filling and the cap sank in 65 feet of water. Anyone know the diameter and thread size? Even better, someone bought one online and can confirm it fits, in which case I will just order from there? Thanks.

i have the factory plastic one from a 93". i bought a aluminum powder coated from dana marine. if you want the plastic stock one how bout 10 bucks plus shipping?

here is the link to the one i bought,they can make it all different colors. it looks great and works real nice too! just keep the o-ring seal lubricated. real tight seal no water in fuel!
