I also use Sta-bil when I put them away for the winter, but have never heard anybody mention cranking them once a month before.

Bill, I say that because I don't have to shovel snow to get to it and give it a yank once a month :) I use Sta-Bil but I don't pour a 1/2 ounce of oil in the cylinder and then rotate it for real long time storage. I just crank it once a month to keep everything lubed inside.

Thanx Redfish

The more hurricanes we have, the closer I get to lake front property, lol.
The poor folks at the top of the Gulf are going to catch it.
Swing hard and keep the ball low,

Generator Storage

George,
I don't use fuel stabilizers. I use the BP [Amoco] 93 octane in my generator, lawnmowers, weedeaters, lawn blowers, Boat, Jet Ski and dirt bikes. When a carb bowl full of Amoco evaporates it leaves the bowl spotless. When you use any other "brown" gasoline the MMT leaves a brown crystal deposit in the Jets / Bowl.
